The planet Earth is connected to a series of worlds by gates controlled by beings known as the Sentinels. To activate the gates, they assured that a genetic code was added to certain families on each planet. Each planet also has an inhabitant that is both part Sentinel and part of the dominant species of the planet.

Redemption

The funeral is over. Geoffrey is dead, and Emily is living the new life. Instead of diving into the world, she has decided to stay on in Geoffrey’s house, at the small farm on the distant planet. The Earth can wait. At least, that was her plan, until Drew Montenegro appears at her doorstep with a request that will send her back into the world and force her to become part of a larger plan. If this was what Geoffrey had in mind for her future, she has no intention of becoming just another version of that man.

Weeks of interviews have made him famous. Tristan loves every minute of it. Who would have thought that he would end up invulnerable? He created a life that represents everything he is not. The girlfriend, the house in the suburbs, the boring car, and even worse clothes are part of an image to feed his need for power. He finds that people are willing to worship any good redemption story. The sensation even erases addiction to violence. Nothing can touch him, until an obnoxious and scary teenager appears that could destroy everything he has built. Instead, he discovers he can travel from one planet to another. Should he use this new power to establish his godlike status as he builds followers, or should he use it to satisfy his addiction?
